The International Peace and Development Training Centre (IPDTC) announces an Advanced Certificate Program Training in Making Prevention, Early Warning & Peacebuilding Effective: Lessons Learned, What Works in the Field and Core Skills for practitioners, government leadership, UN Mission and Agency staff, and national and international experts. The programme, held at IPDTC’s Global Academy, is an in-depth, advanced level training assisting governments, inter-governmental organisations and agencies in the field to draw upon front of the field lessons learned in developing effective early warning and prevention systems, and drawing upon practical experiences and real situation case-studies to identify critical lessons and challenges in peacebuilding and prevention. The programme will assist practitioners and their organisations, agencies and missions to develop a roster of measures, tools and approaches to make early warning, peacebuilding and prevention work more effectively on the ground in participants own contexts.
